Terms and Conditions

  1. Definitions
    1. "the Company" means Victorian Bathrooms Limited whose registered office is at 2 Jubilee Way, Grange Moor, Wakefield, West Yorkshire, WF4 4SJ
    2. "the Customer" means the person, firms or company with whom or with which the Company contracts.
    3. "the Goods" means the goods (including any installment of the goods or any parts for them) which the Company is to supply in accordance with these Conditions.
    4. "the Special Order" means an order of any Goods not listed in the Company's standard literature/price list, copies of which are available on request.
    5. "the Contract" means any order of Goods by the Customer that is accepted by the Company.
    6. "the Conditions" means the standard terms and conditions of business set out in this document and includes any special terms and conditions agreed in writing between the Customer and the Company.
  2. General
    1. The Company reserves the right to amend specifications or withdraw a product line without prior notice.
    2. Quotations are valid for 30 days after such quotations are supplied to the Customer.
    3. The Company reserves the right to amend the prices listed within its published price book/catalogue.   Any typographical, clerical or other error or omission in any sales literature, quotation, price list, acceptance of offer, invoice or other document of information issued by the Company shall be subject to correction without any liability on the part of the Company.
    4. All specifications given to the Customer are approximate and intended as a guide only.  The Company does not accept responsibility for any preparation work based on such specifications.
    5. Customers must take delivery within 7 days of being notified their order is complete and ready for delivery.
  3. Payment
    1. Where no account has been agreed with the Customer, any balance owing to the Company is due upon delivery.
    2. Payment can be made by cash, banker's draft, Mastercard and Visa.
    3. The Company reserves the right to refuse payment by personal cheque, unless any such payment has been presented and cleared in advance of delivery.
  4. Warranty
    1. The Company warrants that the Goods shall at the time of delivery be free from defects in workmanship and materials.  If any Goods do not conform to this warranty the Company will at its option:-
      1. replace the Goods found not to conform to the warranty;
        or
      2. take such steps as the Company deems necessary to bring the Goods into a state where they are free from such defects;
        or
      3. take back the Goods found not to conform to the warranty and refund the appropriate part of the purchase price. Provided that the liability of the Company shall in no event exceed the purchase price of the Goods, and performance of any one of the above options shall constitute an entire discharge of the Company's liability under this warranty.
    1. The warranty in this clause 3 is conditional upon:-
      1. the Customer giving written notice to the Company of the alleged defect in the goods, such notice to be received by the Company within 10 days of the date when the Customer discovers or ought to have discovered the defect and in any event within 1 month of the date of the Company's invoice; and
      2. the Customer affording the Company a reasonable opportunity to inspect the goods and, if so requested by the Company, returning the allegedly defective goods to the Company's place of business, at the Customer's expense, for inspection to take place there; and
      3. the Goods not having been altered in any way whatsoever or not having been subject to misuse or unauthorised repair.
    2. The above provisions of this clause 3 do not affect the Customer's statutory rights.
  5. Cancellation
    1. Cancellation of the Customer's order will not be accepted by the Company following delivery of the goods.
    2. The Company will not accept cancellation of any Special Orders.
    3. In the event that any orders of Goods are cancelled prior to delivery, the Company reserve the right to retain the Customer's deposit.

No Problem, we offer other options, including cheque or bank transfer.
We do not rely on third parties for delivery, most of our UK Mainland deliveries are by our own staff.
